Nepal opened 57 new mountains for climbing, including 15 snow peaks of Mustang.

Janglatinpu Peak (6062 m)

The government of Nepal has opened 15 mountains of Upper Mustang, which are semi-prohibited for foreign tourists, for mountaineering. The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation published a notice in the Nepal Gazette on 22nd of January and opened 57 new mountains for climbing, including 15 snow peaks of Mustang.
According to the information published by the Ministry, Janglatinpu Peak (6062 m), K Cap Ri 1st (6187 m), K Cap Ri 2nd (6011 m), K Cap Ri 1st (6187 m), K Cap Ri 2 (6011 m) located on the border of Lomanthang and Loghekar Damodarkund Rural Municipality under the Nepal-China Border Mustang Range of Upper Mustang.
Chuama Peak 4th (6179m), Chuama Peak 1st (6366m), Chuama Peak 2nd (6325m), Chuama Peak 3rd (6268m), Chungen Changma (6229m), Ghyun Himal 2nd (Ghyun Himal 3rd) in Lomanthang Rural Municipality 6027 m), Mansayal East (6186 m), Mustang Himal (6150 m) are the newly opened mountains for climbing.
