Chauri Deurali Trek is a trekking route in Nepal, located 140km from Kathmandu’s capital. The route is known for its local culture, agriculture, and sustainable tourism, while also preserving cultural and natural heritages. The trek offers a unique experience, allowing trekkers to explore less crowded trails and experience the natural beauty and culture of rural Nepal. The route passes through lush forests, traditional villages, and alpine meadows, offering stunning views of the Himalayan peaks Langtang, Gauri Shanker, Dorje Lakpa, Annapurna, and Manaslu. The trek is situated between the Chauri Khola and Sunkoshi Rivers, covering 98.2 km square and 2240 meters above sea level. It is famous for Buddhist monasteries, Chorten’s and Guru Padmasambhava’s meditation places, and Sir Edmund Hillary’s route to Mt. Everest. The region is home to Hindus and Buddhists, with farming being the main occupation. Trekkers can start from Kathmandu to Namo Buddha, Temal to Arubot Village, or drive to Arubot and start the trek.

Starting Points and Trek Duration: Trekkers can start their journey from Kathmandu, traveling to Namo Buddha and then to Temal before reaching Arubot Village. Alternatively, one can drive directly to Arubot and begin the trek from there. The trek can typically be completed in about a week to two weeks, depending on the pace and side excursions.
Local Lifestyle and Agriculture: The area’s main inhabitants are Hindus and Buddhists, who engage primarily in farming. This presents an opportunity for trekkers to witness and even participate in the local lifestyle and agricultural practices.

Half day Sightseeing tours in three world Heritage sights Pashupatinath Temple, Boudha stupa and Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square in Kathmandu valley.
Our morning drive takes us from Kathmandu to Arubot 4 hrs. We start drive about 7 Oclock in the morning. After lunch we make an excursion to the village. Overnight at home stay.
