Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Nepal

 Our staff will give you our traditional welcome and you will be transferred to hotel on private vehicle.

Day 2Kathmandu sightseeing tour.

Guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, including Bouddhanath stupa, Pashupatinath temple,Kathmandu Durbar square and Swoyambhunath stupa.We take you to Bouddhanath stupa to show you 1500 years old stupa, the biggest in the world. Loaded with prayer flags and Tibetan pilgrims, it is an intoxicating place. The Swoyambhunath stupa is even older and commands a superb view of Kathmandu city and the Himalaya.Kathmandu Durbar square is where Nepal’s finest temples and palaces are found.In the old Hindu temple of Pashupatinath you will get opportunities to meet the Sadhus and see Hindu cremation rituals among other interests.

Day 3Fly to Lukla & trek to Phakding (2640m)

Take early morning , short spectacular mountain flight to Lukla with your guide. Meet your other trekking crew in Lukla and start your Everest view trek.Overnight in lodge in Phakding.

Day 4Trek to Namche Bazar (3440m)

It is an uphill hike and the hardest day in your trek. Trekking slowly and stopping frequently for photographs, we take lunch on the way, cross a long suspension bridge over Dudhkoshi river and finally reach Namche Bazzar.Namche is the headquarter of Everest region, an active mountain village where you will get almost everything you will wish as a trekker- shops, restaurants, a bakery, hotel with hot showers and electric power, trekking gears , and even internet facilities .

Day 5 Acclimatization day at Namche Bazzar(3440m)

Accommodate your body to high altitude of Namche as you have gained much height previous day.Walk aroud the interesting Sherpa bazzar , if it is saturday you will be able to watch the colourful flea market with villagers coming from day long walk to buy or sell their products.You can also do a short hiking to a hill above Namche early mornig.The view of Everest and other Khumbu Himalaya from here is one of the most stunning scenery in the world.

Day 6Trek to Thame (3800m)

Enjoy the view of Khumbu himalaya from different angles as you trek to Thame . Thame is the village of the famous Sherpa mountaineers.This is one of the highest Sherpa village and a good place to see their culture.

Day 7Trek to Khumjung (3780m)

Khumjung is the biggest Sherpa village in Everest region.You will see the beautiful Khumjung monastery , Edmund Hillary school, Yaks and Sherpa farm land and their vibrant culture.A visit to Syangboche will reward you with one of the most amazing close view of Everest and other Khumbu mountains.

Day 8 Trek to Tengboche (3860m)

Tengboche is the biggest and most important Buddhist monastery sitting majestically on a hill above Dudh koshi valley. The view from here is one of the best in Everest region. It is a great place to see the sunrise and sunset over Everest or watch the Buddhist culture and relax or hike around.

Day 9Tengboche rest and explore around hill view points, Monastries and Sherpa villages.

Day 10Tengboche trek to Namche Bazar Sherpa village

Day 11Namche Bazar Sherpa village to Phakding

Day 12Phakding Sherpa village trek to Lukla.

Day 13Lukla to Katmandu by flight. Trekking ends.
